Xiaobian: There are many brands in the ceramic industry. What is the reason why you finally made up your mind to choose sublimated ceramics?
Chief Gong: Choosing sublimation can be said to be fate. In fact, I had already been exposed to sublimation before the agent sublimated. I used to do clothing customization in Guangzhou, and I used to do sublimation work clothes customization. After contact, I felt that sublimation was very good in terms of quality and cost performance, and it was also an old brand that produced Guangdong bricks for many years. In addition, I wanted to create a business of my own at that time, so I finally chose to return to Zhangjiajie to represent the sublimation brand.
Xiaobian: In the first half of this year, all walks of life were affected by the epidemic. What was the overall situation of the store? What are the plans for future development?
Chief Gong: In the first half of this year, I think Zhangjiajie has a great influence. To a certain extent, Zhangjiajie belongs to a tourist city, which is affected by the big environment, and it is difficult to do in various industries. The floating population is small, and the economy will suffer somewhat. Moreover, this year, everyone is more cautious about investing in this piece, so I think the impact is definitely there, but on the whole, it is OK.
Mr. Gong: In the second half of this year, it is planned to increase investment in advertising. The promotion should be done well, following the pace of the headquarters, including the sample display of new products in the storefront, so as to make the market bigger and stronger in the local area.
Xiaobian: What products are popular in terminals at present, and how do you do brand promotion in normal times?
Mr. Gong: At present, 400×800, 600×1200 and 750×1500 products are popular in terminals. As for the promotion of this part at ordinary times, sublimation has been a brand for 22 years, and the brand precipitation strength is also very strong. We also often participate in various promotional activities in the building materials market, and we also do advertising promotion, such as community elevators, community outdoor, community parking lots and other advertisements, including the conventional light box advertisements in storefronts.
Xiao Bian: It is understood that you, Mr. Gong, started acting as an agent at the end of 2018. Can you talk to us about the store construction and operation investment?
Mr. Gong: Actually, in terms of operation and investment, it is also in my plan, including the early establishment of stores. Although the process of learning and progress is a bit difficult, as a novice, I have to explore all aspects of operation and channel management, but these so-called difficulties I thought about when I decided to sublimate as an agent, and my life will always meet challenges before it can be enriched and improved.
Xiaobian: It is understood that you have unique opinions on product matching, can you share them with us?
Mr. Gong: If the product is matched with this piece, I will match the product with the customer according to the customer's needs and draw out the design drawings, mainly looking at the current fashion trend. Simple style is more popular with customers, such as black, white and gray products, and our 750×1500 large panel background wall. When matched, customers are satisfied, so these products are very popular.
Xiaobian: Does Mr. Gong have any experience to share with our young people who are preparing to start a business?
Chief Gong: My experience is: ask more, do more, learn more and solve things in time when you encounter things you don't understand. There is no shortcut to do a good job successfully. The so-called "diligence can make up for your shortcomings"! In the early stage of operation, I am more adapting to the local consumers' preferences and aesthetics, because the consumption habits and favorite styles in each region are different.
Mr. Gong: At this stage of early adaptation, I constantly adjusted the samples of new products in the store. Now the store has two floors. The first floor is for displaying large-scale products, such as 600×1200 and 750×1500, and the second floor is our porcelain pieces and the exhibition area between the demonstration rooms. Up to now, I can say that I am familiar with the business, and I am confident that I can improve my sublimation in the local area!
